“We’re on to the next one!”

It has begun! Welcome back to the world of LonestarSSC Flag Football. Another new season, some new teams (and a few old ones) and a whole new champion to crown!

CFDC On to the Next One (former Snatch Thrusters) are back to defend their championship title and perhaps repeat yet another flawless season. They’re accompanied by a new rookie branch, CFDC Devil Rooks. Both teams claiming the season opening wins over Looking to Score and Vincebus Eruptum (former Mango Thunder).

The other 4 teams in the league are also brand new expansion teams to the league: Quiet Storm, Team Scoregasm, Flag Em Down, and Naughty Time! Quiet Storm looking formidable as an early season contender, take the victory 28-0 over Team Scoregasm. As well, Flag Em Down controlling the 2nd half and stealing the “W” over Naughty Time.

All teams finally getting things underway… Let’s hope the football gods keep the fields dry as we all look forward to next week.
